Excess is excited to offer the new XLC-3 451 Carbon Wheelset. Excess XLC Carbon Wheelset is the perfect addition to your hi-end race machine.
The XLC-3 uses our exclusive 3K Carbon rims that feature 2 different rim profiles front and rear, each with a low profile, and a hi-gloss carbon finish.
The Mini/Expert 20” Carbon Wheelset is highlighted with a new rear Cassette Hub. The Excess Cassette hub system features 3 individual pawls with an upgraded 5 fin engagement system, that lock into a 120 ratchet ring inside the rear hub for a superior cassette system and torque grabbing system to ensure all the power gets to the ground with every pedal!
The Mini/Expert 20” Carbon Wheelset offers you the option to convert the rear hub to accept a disc brake, via an optional Disc Centre Lock adapter! This gives you the best of both worlds. The Wheels are set up out of the box for V Brakes, but you can upgrade to Disc at anytime without getting a new rear hub!

The wheels feature white graphics that are applied under the Hi-Gloss finish on the Natural Carbon finish.

• Wheel set is not delivered with a rear cog
• Option to replace the supplied alloy lock ring and install the Centre Lock Disc Adapter not included.
